We Believe in Free Speech. Just as long as we are the ones who speak.

Tom Daschle is a complete and utter moron.

Any time somebody speaks out criticizing this administration or its policies, there is this orchestrated concerted effort to attack those who criticize. Criticizing those who are vocal in their personal criticism, their approach, their concerns, is McCarthyesque.

Okay, let me see if I get this straight. Daschle can, with impunity, voice his "dissent" as many times as he sees necessary (which with him seems almost daily), and no one can then criticize his "dissent"? That about right there, Tom?

Look you liberal moron, free speech is not exclusive to those on the Left. Free speech is a right that all people get to enjoy, you want to "dissent" all you want to? Fine, you go right ahead. But when you utter such pedantic, blathering nonsense as you did above. You will be called on it. Period.

And Tom, if I might make a suggestion. Read the Constitution of the United States of America. Primarily the First Amendment (although reading the entire thing couldn't hurt you), which says to wit:

Congress shall make no law respecting the establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances

In other words Tom, whenever someone disagrees with you, they are not infringing on your right to free speech. Only asshats such as yourself can infringe on the right to free speech by passing a damn law.

In short Tom Daschle wants to have it both ways. He wants complete and total freedom to criticize the President, but he does not want to extend that same freedom to the people who criticize him.

Go to Hell, Tom. And say hello to bin Laden while you're there.
