Comes this little missive:
North Korea is taking "concrete measures" to boost its nuclear capabilities, reiterating that it was no longer interested in holding further negotiations with the United States, a South Korean news agency reported Tuesday.
A spokesman of the communist state's Foreign Ministry also told official news agency KCNA late Monday that if the United States tries to force North Korea to give up its nuclear weapons program before providing Pyongyang with a nonaggression treaty, it would lead to "war."
So in order for them to give up their nuclear weapons, we -- the U.S -- need to provide them with a nonaggression treaty? Um.. No thanks, cutting off your nose to spite your face comes to mind.
And to the NorKs? Don't even attempt to play a game of brinkmanship with this President, your pathetic excuse for a backwater country will be gone quicker than you can say, Kim Jong Il.
I am just waiting for Bush to use the quintessential Reaganism.
C'mon Mr. President, you know you want to say it.
