The American People are Stupid..

At least the voters of California are, according to our good friends over at The Democratic Underground. Below are some samples of the contempt the posters at DU have for the American people in general, and the voters of California in particular.

It's official...American's officially most stupid people on Earth...

First off Nazgul it's Ayn Rand, not Ann Raynd. And you know when liberals begin to take her advice, they are just plain intellectually bankrupt. And our good buddy Nazgul35 says his poor spelling and bad grammar (not grammer Nazgul) is a result of his being stressed. Oh you poor baby, move to France why don't you? And this guy (girl?) claims he teaches, to use his words, "yuppie larva"? One assumes Nazgul would have, at the very least, a Master's degree to teach "yuppie larva" at a big ten university, yet he cannot even spell Ayn Rand's name correctly, let alone even know Ayn Rand is the doyenne for libertarian thought, not liberal thought. One wonders at the bona fides of Nazgul35.

Just where was it reported that Arnold "worshipped" Hitler? Even the story that came out on "Dirty Tricks Thursday" never made that assertion. Hysterical? I would say so. Read that as the government has the unqualified right to take as much money from the "rich" as they deem necessary, and give it to people who didn't earn it. And of course, insulting a legal immigrant's accent. One wonders if Arnold was a illegal immigrant, would the Left be so quick to poke fun at his accent. Once again, a shining example of the Left's so-called tolerance.

Tin Foil Thoughts: Do they know who is gonna win before the election?

Ostensibly the early call for Gore, during the 2000 election, sat just fine with Kentuck. Regardless of the fact the early call was made while the polls were still open in the state of Florida. The call for Swarzenegger was made after the polls in CA had already closed. Also, to our good friend Kentuck, the only thing that matters is that people vote. Whether their votes are counted is secondary to the process. If no one voted there would be no reason for those votes to be counted. Form follows function, as the old saying goes.

So...let this be a lesson to you. Stupid sells. Hence the miraculous relative popularity of Dubyah, despite all of his adminstration's screw ups and deliberate screw jobs. By rights Bush should have favorability and approval ratings that make Gray Davis look like Mr, Popularity. Yet...he doesn't.

So, we have to keep hammering him...every day. Until the message finally pentrates the thick skulls of all the dumbf*cks out there in voterland.

Translation:

Leftists cannot believe that Bush is popular with the rank and file Americans because he is a good and decent man. The Left cannot get their minds around this, so therefore the rank and file Americans must be stupid.

Simliarly, the Left cannot believe that their Golden Boy (or would that be Silver-Haired Boy?), Gray Davis, was actually such an abysmal failure as a governor, that they, the voters of CA, are willing to give a political novice like Arnold a shot at fixing the problems of the State of California. Since they cannot believe that, then voters of CA must be stupid.
